Full Description

PRN 25526 This is a building identified as of historical interest by the South Holland District Council Local List. It is a good example of this style of building of this period but has, in the past, been altered and has lost many of its original features and its historic character. {1} Three storey brick house with rubbed segmental brick arches that has been completely whitewashed. The ground floor appear to have been altered and consists of two windows/bays and a porch which stand proud of the front of the house with a shallow hipped tile roof complete with small decorative dormer to the centre. The first and second floor windows are laid put symmetrically with sixteen light sash windows which are probably original to the building ( except for the second floor centre window which is smaller at 12 lights). There are two chimneys on either side of the gable which has raised gable ends and a mostly likely replaced tile roof. {2}
