A pair of red brick built cottages. Built in Flemish Bond with a single central chimney stack on a tile roof. The cottages have each have a single sash window to the ground floor and first floor. The windows have rubbed brick segmental arches but all the windows appear to be replacements and are of a variety of sizes. Each cottage has a single doorway to the front with rubbed bick arch and number 31 has an additional passageway door. {1}
This is a building identified as of historical interest by the South Holland District Council Local List. It is a good example of this style of building of this period but has, in the past, been altered and has lost many of its original features and part of its historic character. {2}
