Full Description

PRN 65614 This former chapel was built in 1822 and enlarged in 1839 and was the predecessor of the chapel in West Street which was built in 1878. A stone tablet 'Wesleyan Chapel Built 1822 Enlarged 1839' is reset in the south wall. It is now a house. It is a plain hipped red brick building with a broad front and pantile roof covering. It has been refenestrated but blocked segmental-headed windows and a blocked segmental-headed doorway can be discerned. It has been extended to the south and garage doors have since been inserted into the south elevation.{1}{2}{3}{4}
