Full Description

PRN 65611 This former Free United Methodist Chapel was built in 1857 and was superseded by the attached chapel built in 1882 (PRN 61319). At that time it became a Sunday School and is now a Church Hall. The building has a pedimented gable with an ashlar cartouche "Free Methodist Chapel 1857". The three-bay gabled front is built of beige gault brick, now painted pink, with a central doorway flanked by windows, all with pedimenteed stone arches and stone sills. The side elevation has two bays of camber-headed windows. The roof covering has been replaced with modern tiles. There is a lower slated gabled extension to the rear.{1}{2}
