18th century painted brick house and shop with pantile roof, with 19th and 20th century alterations. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}{2} A site visit was undertaken on the brick outbuilding at 24 South Street, Caistor, prior to its proposed alterations. The outbuilding is known as 'The Old Bakery' and was probably originally a small domestic industrial workshop in the 18th century, and subsequently became a bakery in the 20th century. {3}{4}
