Full Description

PRN 56151 Farmhouse built c. 1825, constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and red brick with a concrete tiled roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A photographic recording of the outbuildings at Low Moor Farm, Tealby was undertaken in March 2011 prior to alteration of the buildings. the farm was originally part of the Tennyson D’Eyncourt estate. The stone barn with oak beams maypossibly date to the eighteenth century and has been extended in brick in the mid nineteenth century. The complex went out of use as a farm in the 1990s. {3} Low Moor Farm, Tealby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
