Mount Pleasant Farmhouse was built in the late 18th century and underwent minor alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of brown brick with painted brick dressings and has a pantile roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A heritage assessment of Mount Pleasant Farmhouse was conducted in December 2018. It revealed that alterations were made on the property in 1982 including the addition of concrete pantiles, new window openings at attic level, the replacement of original windows with uPVC, and the construction of a new front porch. Some internal features appear to be original, including the main stair's handrail and newel posts, though the balusters are mid-late 19th century replacements. {2}
