Full Description

A farmhouse dating from the early 18th century which underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of coursed limestone rubble, ashlar and some red brick. It has a steeply pitched slate roof, hipped to the south east with a single gable and lateral stacks and a single, central ridge stack. The limestone is probably re used from Barlings Abbey. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
