Full Description

A c.1830 house which is wrongly shown as Ingleby House on the Ordnance Survey map. It was rendered and has a slate hipped roof with four moulded brick stacks. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Ingleby Chase (Ingleby House), Saxilby with Ingleby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
