Full Description

A farmhouse dating from the 17th century which underwent an addition and refronting in 1747 and an addition in the 20th century. It was constructed of coursed greenstone rubble with deeper squared courses, ashlar quoins and brick dressings and has slate roofs with stone coped gables, three brick stacks, one gable, one ridge and one wall. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
