No.16 Meynell Street is a late 18th century house which underwent 19th century alterations. It was built of brown brick and has a pantile roof. This house forms a pair with No.15 which is on the opposite corner. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a loose farmstead cluster. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
