Matt Hall is a house which was built in 1572 and underwent alterations in the 20th century. It was constructed of whitewashed stone and brick and has a rendered gable end and a half hipped slate. Loose courtyard. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
