Full Description
A school and school house, still in use, dated 1878 on a date stone at the front of the building. It is built of red brick with black and yellow polychromatic brick bands, ashlar dressings and slate roofs. Both White's 1856 and 1872 Trade Directories mention a school in the parish, with the latter noting it as part of the National System. It is unclear whether this school was on the same site as the current building, however. {3}{4}
A large modern extension was added to the rear of the building at some point in the late 20th or early 21st century. {5}{6}
