Full Description
The stable block to Burton Hall is now two flats. It was built in the late 18th century, probably by James Paine, from coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a hipped slate roof with lead dressing and two wall stacks. The Hallyard, Burton. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
