Full Description

A late 18th century farmhouse which underwent alterations in c.1840. It was constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and ironstone ashlar and has a hipped slate roof with three large brick stacks to rear. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
