Full Description

PRN 38688 St Peter's Hill, No 42 High Street is a Grade II Listed Building dating from the late 18th century. It is three storeys high and built of red brick. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} A town house, which used to be known as 'Halls', which was built in 1788. Its design is attributed to John Brewster. After being used as a house, it became a school until 1917. In the early 1920s it was converted to 'Halls Furnishing' company. The front has been considerably altered but still retains a semi-circular (or Diocletion) window. {2}
