This early 19th century house is constructed of coursed rubble with stone dressings and a slate roof. It is two storeys in height on its street side and three on its garden side. This house was built by Joseph Robinson in 1808, replacing three earlier tenements which had collapsed following attempted repairs. The house is built on a sloping site, so the main room looking over the garden is above ground level. This room has an original verandah. {2}
