PRN 38576 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This house is said to date from 1630 although its front elevation is early 18th century. It is built of ashlar stone with a slate roof. Its façade is very fine and one of the most notable in the town. The interior has 18th century panelling in the front rooms and an early 19th century staircase. {3}
