Full Description

Guildhall building designed by William Watkins, built 1867-9. The building is symmetrical, in modified French style, and is built of red brick, and has a tall clock lantern. To the rear is a Sessions Hall in red brick. It has some original interior features including an ornate wooden balustrade to the public gallery and a canopy over the judge's seat.
