The earliest part of this house dates from the Jacobean period, and it has Victorian wings. The interior was completely remodelled in 1937. It contains an 18th century staircase from a demolished house as well as a decorated fire basket with the date 1724, also probably from another house. There is also a Georgian stable block. The house is now used as a hostel for Stoke Rochford Training College.
