This late 18th century house is two storeys in height with attics and is constructed of ashlar stone with a new slate roof. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1}
This house was built on the site of part of no. 19 in the late 18th century. On a plinth on the south wall is scratched a date, 1770 or 1790, and the intitials IR. The interior has been recently remodelled. In the yard are several carved stones including cherubs and a date, 1824. These are presumably a stonemason's trial pieces. {2}
