Full Description

Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from 1644 and altered in the 20th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and has a pantile roof and catslide to the rear with a short stone ridge stack with moulded top. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} A farmhouse beside the Fox and Hounds in Old Somerby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of F plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
