This building dates to 1849 and is by Edward Browning. The rear portion, which is now a club, is earlier and was built as a warehouse. The warehouses date from around 1756. At their west end is the former Toll House, built in 1849 in the Tudor style by Edward Browning in connection with the new Town Bridge. {2}
