Full Description
Grade II listed farmhouse and barn, dating from the 17th century and altered in the early 18th and 20th centuries. They are coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins. The farmhouse has a concrete tiled roof with raised stone coped gables and two gable moulded ashlar stacks. The range to the left has a pantile roof. Tanyard House, South Witham. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Row with additional detached elements. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
