This house is of early origin although it has a late 19th century terracotta front, probably from Blashfield's factory. It shares a slate roof with nos. 28 and 29. Nos. 28 to 30 are one building which probably originated as a timber framed building of unknown date (see also PRN 37226). No. 30 became a shop in the early 18th century, and it was refronted in terracotta shortly before 1876. The late 19th century terracotta front is extravagently designed and is by Blashfield. {2}
