Full Description

PRN 37226 This building dates to the mid 18th century and earlier. It is two storeys in height with attics and is constructed of painted stone with a slate roof shared with no. 30. It has two 19th century shop windows. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} Nos. 28 to 30 High Street are one building (see also PRN 37843). It probably originated as a timber framed building of unknown date. Early in the 18th century nos. 28 and 29 were refronted in ashlar, and no. 30 became a shop. Nos. 28 and 29 have shop fronts dating to around 1830. {2}
