This building was formerly three early 19th century cottages, and is now two houses (nos. 9 and 20 have been combined). It is two storeys in height and is constructed of coursed rubble with a slate roof (although no. 10 has been reroofed). This building was built at sometime between 1817 and 1824, by Robert Nicholls and James Althorp, drapers. No. 8 has a contemporary wooden latticework porch. {2}
