Full Description

Grade II listed milepost, dating from the late 19th century. It is cast iron and painted white with black detailing. On the north side is inscribed "To Billingboro' Half a mile". This meets the south side which is inscribed "To Donington 6 miles". This forms a sharp projecting angle, with the upper inverted triangle inscribed: "Horbling Parish". It was cast whole with narrow black painted bands defining each face. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1}
