Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the 17th century and altered in the late 18th, mid 19th and 20th centuries. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins and has Collyweston slate, plain tiled and pantiled roofs with raised stone coped gables. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} Unnamed farmstead, Thurlby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
