Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the mid 17th century and altered in the mid 18th and late 19th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with limestone ashlar and has plain tiled roofs with stone coped gables, two ridge and single gable stacks, and a single brick lateral stack to the east. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} Birthorpe Manor (Manor House), Billingborough. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a loose farmstead cluster. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
