PRN 37622
This section of the town wall dates to around 1300, although it was raised around 1720. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar stone dressings. This section is 18m long and around 2m high, with buttresses and gargoyles. There is a deep earth bank to the rear, accessed up a flight of stone steps.
