Full Description
Grade II milepost dating from the late 19th century. It is cast iron painted white with black detailing. The north side, inscribed "To Bourn 7 miles", meets the south side which is inscribed "To Billingboro 3 miles" to form a sharp projecting angle. The upper inverted triangle is inscribed ".... Parish", the top of which is damaged. The milepost has a tall base with a projecting angle. It was cast whole with black painted bands defining each face.
