Full Description

Grade II listed milepost, dating from the late 19th century. It is cast iron, painted white with black detailing. On its north side is inscribed "To Bourn 6 miles" which meets the south side inscribed "To Folkingham 3 miles" to form a sharp projecting angle with the upper inverted triangle inscribed "London 103". There is a rectangular plaque above inscribed "Aslackby Parish", all on a tall base with projecting angle. It was cast as a whole with black painted bands defining each face.
