Full Description
Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from about 1800 and altered in the 20th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a black glazed-pantile roof with stone coped gables and two gable stacks. Heath Farm, Barkston. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of F plan. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
