Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the early 19th century. It is red brick and coursed ironstone rubble and has a concrete tiled roof with lead dressings and gable stacks. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} The Red House, Hough-on-the-Hill. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
