Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the 16th century and altered in the 17th century and altered and extended in the 19th century. It is coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a pantile roof with a stone coped gable and a single brick ridge stack. Inside, there are several chamfered beams in the earlier range as well as the base of a 14th century decorated post, perhaps from an aisle, ex situ beside the hearth. Regular courtyard of L plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
