Full Description

PRN 37263 [Note - where there is confusion or discrepancy between sources regarding the date of a building, the Royal Commission survey (which is the most detailed and recent) has been taken as the most reliable.] This house is of three sections. The earliest is the two storey centre which is possibly of late 17th century date. The south section, of three storeys, was built in 1804 for Miss Frances Treen and the north section has a datestone of 1866. The earliest section contains a room with large cross beams but no other original features. Some interior features of around 1804 remain. {1} This house dates to the late 18th or early 19th century with 17th century sections to the rear [see above for more detailed dating]. It is built of ashlar stone with a modern tile mansard roof.
