PRN 37176 This two storey ashlar stone house dates to the 18th century. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {1} This house was described as 'newly built' in 1788. In the early 19th century the stair turret was replaced. The interior includes an 18th century kitchen fireplace and a number of reset earlier features. These include early 18th century fireplaces in the attic, and moulded beams and joists dating to around 1600 in the cellar. The stable wall also has a stone doorway and window of similar date. {2}
