Full Description

Farmhouse dating from 1680, and built by Thomas Cowley, founder of Donington School. Altered and extended in the 18th and 19th centuries. Built of red brick in English bond, and has a machine plain tiled and pantile roof with a large axial ridge stack. Laid out in a T-shaped plan, and of two storeys and garret. The right hand gable features an ashlar datestone inscribed 'TC1680' with a fan above. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1}
