Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the mid 18th century and altered in the 19th century. It is red brick with some render and some ashlar dressings and has a slate roof with broken dentillated eaves, tumbled gables and a single ridge and two gable stacks. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} A brief history of some of the former occupants of Austendike Hall was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in January 2015, prior to the proposed conversion to residential use of some of the former farm buildings. {2}{3}
