Full Description

Grade II listed house, dating from the early 19th century. It is red brick with ashlar dressings and some render and has slate roofs with stone coped gables, moulded wooden eaves and gable stacks. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} Photographs of the house were taken during a site visit in December 2013. The property was unnoccupied and boarded up at this time. {2} The building is typically late Georgian in style, and is belived to have been constructed around 1820, although the exact date is unclear. The house is relatively unaltered, with the exception of the addition of the rear extension, added to the north elevation at some time in the 20th century. The house is constructed of red brick, laid in English bond to the principal (southern) elevation, and in English Garden Wall bond to all other elevations. {3} Bloodfold House, Fleet. 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of T plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
