Full Description

Grade II listed farmhouse, dating from 1692 and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is rough cast rendered brick with stucco quoins and has a slate roof with coped gables and two gable stacks. For the full description of this listed building please refer to the National Heritage List for England. {1} The Gables (Congreve's Farm), Gosberton. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
