Full Description
Grade II listed milepost, dating from the early 19th century. It is cast iron and has a triangular plan. On the facetted top in raised cast letters is inscribed "Donington Parish" and on the sides is inscribed "To Donington 2 miles, and to Billingboro 4 and a half miles". Mile post has slipped down the bank a little and is now nearly horizontal and the "Donington" from the "Donington Parish" lettering is now lost. {2}
