Full Description
Grade II* listed Diocesan retreat and conference centre, and diocesan offices, dating from 1727 and remodelled in Gothic Revival style in 1866 by Ewan Christian. The chapel was built in 1898, by Bodley & Garner, in Decorated style, above the service rooms of the adjoining Bishop's Palace. There was an addition in the mid 20th century to south. It is dressed stone with ashlar dressings with gabled and mansard slate roofs, four gable, three ridge and three side wall stacks, one of them external.
