Full Description

Grade II listed Crimean War memorial, dating from about 1858. It is a granite, rectangular block with a moulded top edge, probably a coping stone. It is inscribed with "Brought from Sevastopol and placed here by Major RG Ellison in memory of the men of his company 47th Regt who fell in the Crimean War".
