Full Description

A small country house with attached wall and gazebo dating from 1845 and probably built by W. A. Nicholson. It was constructed of stock brick with limestone ashlar dressings and some red brick and has slate roofs with stone coped gables and kneelers, two gable and single ridge stacks, two ridge stacks and a single gable stack to the rear. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. Additional, prominent detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
