[This record includes information from record PRN42295 which has now been deleted.] The Church of St Peter and St Paul was rebuilt in 1781 and of this date only the west door survives. The chancel was rebuilt in between 1859 and 1860 and the nave in 1909. {1}{2} A parish church dating from 1781 which underwent alterations and additions in 1859 to 1860 and 1909. It was constructed of green sandstone with red brick patching and limestone dressings. It has plain tile and slate roofs with stone coped gables with kneelers and an east cross finial.
