Full Description

A stable block and carriage house with adjoining walls dating from the 18th century which underwent alterations in the 19th century. They buildings were constructed of red brick with limestone ashlar dressings and have slate and pantile roofs with ashlar coped gables and kneelers. Now a house, Beech Tree Cottage. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within a loose farmstead cluster. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
