Full Description

A cottage dating from the 17th century which underwent alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was originally mud and stud and then partially underbuilt in brick and has a hipped steeply pitched asbestos sheet roof with a single tall brick ridge stack. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with four sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {2}
