A house dating from about 1800 which was constructed of red brick and has a pantile roof with brick coped and tumbled gables and two gable stacks. Holly Tree Cottage, Thorpe St. Peter. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. {2}
